Trust & safety.
Know who you are sharing with, what is being carried, and how the delivery will work. A clearer journey starts before the handoff.
Know who you are sharing with.
Identity and profile checks, ratings and recorded parcel details help both sides review a match.
- Review the profile. Check the available verification status and ratings alongside the route and delivery details.
- Keep sensitive information private. Use the app's verification flow. Do not send identity documents or payment credentials to another user.
- Ask when something is unclear. Contact support about a verification issue before proceeding.
Identity checks and payment support serve different purposes. Neither replaces checking the parcel or confirming that a request fits your trip.
How verification information is usedBe clear about what can travel.
Accurate contents, suitable packaging and the right paperwork matter to the sender and the person carrying the parcel.
- Describe the contents accurately. Include the size, weight, route and timing. Do not accept unidentified contents.
- Check the parcel's condition. Compare its exterior with the recorded photographs or condition report. Refuse a parcel that appears tampered with or does not match its record.
- Check the rules for the whole journey. Review prohibited-goods restrictions, baggage allowances, customs requirements and any documents needed before accepting.
Keep payment connected to delivery.
Where available, escrow-supported payments hold funds through the delivery process until delivery is confirmed.
- Review the request.
Agree the parcel, route, timing and handoff details.
- Follow the in-app payment steps.
Use the flow available for your delivery. Methods and availability may vary by region.
- Confirm the delivery.
Complete confirmation only once the parcel has arrived as agreed, so the applicable payment process can be completed.
Escrow is a payment process, not a guarantee of a successful delivery. If the payment status or delivery record is unclear, pause and contact support.
Understand escrow-supported paymentsAgree the details before you meet.
A public meeting point and a shared delivery record help both people prepare.
- Confirm the place and time. Use an agreed public location and make sure the recipient knows the drop-off arrangements.
- Keep the record together. Use in-app communication and updates so changes remain connected to the delivery.
- Follow the journey. Check tracking and delivery updates in the app, and ask support if the record does not match what happened.
Talk to support.
If a parcel is missing or damaged, or the request, payment status or handoff details do not look right, contact Sharetheload support.
Contact supportHelp explain the issue clearly.
- Identify the delivery or request and the route involved.
- Explain what happened, when it happened and what the app currently shows.
- Keep the relevant messages, parcel details and condition photographs available for the review.
Do not include passwords, identity documents or full payment-card details in the contact form. Sharetheload is the technology platform connecting users, not the carrier. The Terms & Conditions explain the full responsibilities and applicable dispute provisions.
